System Overview
Joint Restoration is comprised basically of repairing delaminated floor joints
where the joint edges (shoulders) have broken back due to impact or building movement.
There are new age materials that make these restorations economical and down time
is kept at a minimum. SCS Flooring has also developed a metal expansion joint
system for those areas that take severe abuse due to traffic, such as fork trucks
or AGV equipment. The most common areas that require these metal joints are corridors
in building transitions. We have found that most joint repairs are derived from
safety issues, product damage and fork truck damage. SCS Flooring recommends a
site visit to evaluate the amount of corrective effort required to repair your
problem areas and bring them back to your standards.
